Description
Pin header strip cutter
The cutter is a tool used for cutting strip header connectors used in the assembly of printed circuits in the electronics industry (PCB).
Pin header strip cutter is used by small, medium and large companies to cut 40-pin connectors of different sizes, single or double.
PURPOSE
To cut various types of 40-pin header strips, single or double, with different pitches (Figure 3).
FIELD OF APPLICATION
All formats of single and double-pin header strips, used for mounting printed circuits.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The strip is positioned (figure 1) and locked on the strip carrier bed (figure 5) which is then cut by means of a blade (figure 1) with specific cutting angles and its advancement takes place through a selector knob (figure 2) that allows to obtain the desired steps. The selector knob can work with a selector switch (figure 4) with different steps that can be customized to the customer’s request.
PRODUCTIVE FEATURES
Machine made with totally mechanical movement mechanisms, manually operated by the operator through a lever with automatic return.
Body in anodized aluminum and steel, with strip collection compartment and optional door compartment.
Optional
SELECTOR
The selectors are constructed with standard UFG steps (table 1). On request, it is possible to make selectors with special steps.
STRIP HOLDER
Depending on the size and the geometries of the component to be cut, the strip holder is made with the customer’s specifications.
On request, special strip holders can be made to customer specifications.
