This technique is the processing of holes with a ratio of depth and relatively large diameter. In deep drilling the ratio of 150: 1 can be reached; Holes with a depth greater than ten times the diameter are considered to be deep drilling, requiring a specific drilling method.

Deep hole drilling
Machining can be performed on the following details: trees, stems, transmissions, gears, molds, etc.
Crank tip: we can drill from a minimum diameter of 2.5 mm to a maximum of 24 mm, for a depth of 3000 mm.
Note: the maximum drilling depth is related to the diameter of the hole.
BTA with insertion tip: we can drill a minimum diameter of 16 mm to 100 mm for a depth of 5000 mm.
Note: the maximum depth, even in this case, is related to the diameter of the hole.
Drilling deep off the axis
When we speak of deep drilling off axis we mean a particular type of machining with which it is possible to execute holes of various diameters and depths parallel to the axis of the workpiece.
Processing, even in this case, can be performed on trees, stems, transmissions, gears, molds, etc.
Diameter 3 mm to diameter 16 mm with max depth 1500 mm.
