Description
What is Bottometro?
Bottometro is an instrument used to observe pasta conditioning , in order to verify its instability (bottling) over time.
Who uses a bottometro?
It is used by small and large pasta factories and can test all types of semolina pasta and egg pasta.
How does it work
The final product is tested in particular conditions of humidity and temperature in an artificial environment (bottom-glass), for a certain time.
The evaluation is carried out on a sample of pasta, removed at the output of the line, where you want to test the pasta stability. It is deposited in the plastic container, taking care to eliminate any presence of defective parts (which must be included in the final calculation of the defect), after which the container will be introduced into the bottom and the following pil test will be followed.
